Most Used Cameras of 2019, part 1

So, I’ll begin by stating the obvious: I own plenty of cameras. My collection grew by one just recently with the addition of the Olympus Pen-F, gifted by the Aussie.

Out of my collection of cameras, there were only a few that I’ve repeatedly gravitated to throughout 2019. Instead of just listing them out, I’ll be dedicating a blog post to each camera, with the images that I’ve created with that camera.

The first camera that’s been in heavy rotation is the iPhone (yes, I consider my iPhone a camera). The first part of the year I was using the iPhone 8 Plus. I then upgraded to the iPhone 11 Pro Max in September.

Look, I’m not going to lay out why I love my iPhone 11 Pro Max in relation to the “lenses” - it’s all been said before. I will simply state that I love how freeing it is to be able to capture a moment in real time in a manner that’s quick and easy, with the final result being polished and beautiful after minimum editing in Lightroom.
